Getting the Vote Out with MTV

MTV has long been a champion of civic involvement, from its decades-old Rock the Vote partnership to our latest campaign, “Elect This.”

Against a building sonic backdrop of “Elect what? Elect this!” we’re taken through vignettes of important issues that face America, from immigration to Black Lives Matter to gun control to vaccinations and health care, ending in a rallying cry in the form of a question: “When it comes to the issues that matter what will you elect?”

Our previous collaboration with MTV in the last year, “Tagline Here” was named AdWeek’s “Ad of the Day” and earned us a two nominations for the FOCAL International Awards. In the same spirit of our first partnership with MTV, we sourced dynamic footage for “Elect This” to tell an important narrative in a way that speaks to the authenticity and urgency of its message.
