AB InBev Raises a Glass to the Local Bar

08 11 2025

As part of a global campaign celebrating World Beer Day, AB InBev raises a glass to local watering holes with its latest film, “Cheers to Bars”.

Crafted entirely from archival footage and stills photography, the spot explores the deep-rooted significance and history of the neighborhood bar; the communities they foster, the cultures they nurture, and the memories they hold.

The film also delves into more legendary historical venues such as the iconic underground haunt CBGB, The Cavern Club, home of The Beatles, and The Freemason’s Arms, the birthplace of soccer. A suitably nostalgia-tinged score is provided by Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”.

Created by agency GUT New York, the campaign spans 20 countries, with archival research, clearancing and licensing handled by STALKR’s US and European teams. The spot has been featured in Ad Age.
