
Trainline, the rail and coach booking platform, launched their latest campaign with this vibrant and eye-catching spot which aims to promote sustainability by getting Britain on the train.
Titled “Bums on Board”, the spot is a cheeky homage to the nation’s rears and their collective power to make a greener choice and travel by train. The film draws on the iconic 70’s punk aesthetic, with a collage-heavy, energetic and rebellious feel, with bright colours, torn graphics and gritty type. The visuals are propelled by a cheeky and humorous script delivered courtesy of actor and comedian Asim Chaudhry.
The ad comes from London agency Dept, with STALKR’s European office working closely with the creatives to shape the edit, sourcing and licensing the imagery from various social platforms and archives. The striking visual tone and unique messaging has garnered features from various trades, along with Ad of the Day in The Drum.
