Novartis debuted their first ever Big Game spot this year, bringing breast cancer awareness to Super Bowl LIX in spectacular fashion.
In noted contrast to the typical prosaic imagery of pharma ads, the film, titled Your Attention Please, goes all in, opening on graphic and attention-grabbing imagery; from breasts in historical artwork, to catwalk models, to cheerleaders. The dynamic narrative then shifts to the observational, portraying women from all walks of life, including Hailee Steinfeld and Wanda Sykes, in a bid to focus awareness on breast cancer detection and prevention.
The spot garnered five star reviews from AdAge, and won the coveted top spot in the 21st Kellogg School Super Bowl Advertising Review. Adweek also featured the ad heavily, noting that a “’Barrage of Boobs’ Steals Super Bowl in Novartis Ad”.
STALKR’s EU office worked on the spot, sourcing, clearing and licensing media from a host of social platforms and archives.
