In their latest campaign, Instagram launches the inaugural Rings, a new award program that recognises and celebrates creators whose unique voices are pushing creativity, redefining culture, and breaking boundaries.
Working closely with agency Uncommon Creative Studio, STALKR sourced a vast amount of footage and stills; from DJ’s, to fashion designers, to chefs. Any media that best represents what makes the platform so creative and unique.
The resulting film is a collage-like and graphic celebration of today’s creator community, and serves as a striking announcement for the Rings award program.
The 25 winners are decided by a panel of judges who include filmmaker Spike Lee, fashion designer Marc Jacobs, and the artist KAWS. Each of them receive a physical gold ring, along with a digital ring for their profile.
Rings debuted across Instagram and other social channels, earning features in The Hollywood Reporter, LBB Online, and Dazed.
