EE, the lead partner of the Home Nations football teams, debuted their three-film campaign, “Hate. Not In My Shirt” during the UEFA European Championship.
Two of the spots, for England and Scotland, present a montage of compelling, yet provocative imagery to challenge hate and abuse both online and offline, and ultimately provide a rallying cry for fans everywhere to oppose hate and intolerance in football.
The final ad in the campaign calls upon some of the biggest names in English football history to speak out against hate in the game. The spot features John Barnes, Alan Shearer, Stuart Pearce and Ellen White, along with a host of fans, all proudly sporting the iconic England shirt.
STALKR’s European office were instrumental across all three films, working closely with Saatchi & Saatchi London over several months to source and curate the featured imagery from social media platforms and various archive libraries.
The result is a powerful, compelling and ambitious campaign which aims to unite the nation and stamp out all forms of hate in football. The positive messaging and thought-provoking visuals has made significant press online.
