Cisco’s latest spot uses footage to convey that “there’s never been a better time,” in a campaign from Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
With an optimistic spin on times of crisis, Cisco illuminates the power of technology to connect individuals when unexpected chaos ensues. “People in Crisis,” the hallmark spot of the campaign, premiered this week along with online films, print and out-of-home. Composed entirely from sourced footage, the spot shows Cisco’s integral role in humanitarian crises, ensuring that individuals and groups can communicate regardless of infrastructure breakdown around them.
The sincerity of the message and poignancy of the brief lent itself to STALKR’s strongest skill set: sourcing and licensing film that looks stunning and rings true to the narrative experience. Text bubbles were added in post to mirror Cisco’s capabilities and “celebrate how empowered we are today by technology,” GS&P creative director Will Elliott explains to AdWeek, who named the spot their Ad of the Day.
